By checking the box below, you agree to the conditions written below to rent an instrument from Metronome Music. Your deposit processed through Paypal will reserve your child's instrument until a credit check is performed. Please allow 3-5 business days processing. You will be notified via telephone or email of the status of your application.

RENTAL PROGRAM
The instrument you have chosen is made available to you on a monthly basis. It is agreed that the instrument may be returned to the lessor at any time.

Upon lessor’s receipt of the instrument, this agreement is canceled, providing the instrument is in the same condition as rented and all due rental payments have been paid.

DO NOT RETURN THE INSTRUMENT TO ANYONE WITHOUT OUR AUTHORIZATION. YOU ARE LIABLE FOR ALL TERMS OF THE CONTRACT UNTIL THE INSTRUMENT IS DELIVERED INTO OUR POSSESSION.

Applicant authorizes Metronome Music, Inc. to contact any credit agency or pertinent individual for information pertaining to the creditworthiness of the applicant.

NOTICE: The Ohio laws against discrimination require that all creditors make credit equally available to all creditworthy customers and that credit reporting agencies maintain separate histories on each individual upon request. The Ohio Civil Rights Commission administers compliance with this law.

RENTAL TERMS
Initial payment of $10 covers your first 3 months of rent and maintenance. Thereafter, rent is due each month in advance on the contract date until returned to the lessor or purchased by the lessee.

Lessee may return the instrument within 3 business days of the initial rental date for a full refund of all rental money collected. After this date, the lessee is obligated for the first two months' rent. Absolutely no refunds after 3 business days.

Rent paid more than 10 days past due will be subject to a late fee. Rent paid more than 30 days late may not apply toward the purchase of the instrument.

In the event rent becomes more than 45 days delinquent, Metronome music, Inc. may pick up the instrument without further notice wherever it may be located and the lessee agrees to pay a pick-up fee of $75.

If rent becomes more than 60 days delinquent, the balance will be sent to our collection service. The amount collected will include late fees, cost of the instrument (if not returned) plus a 35% collection fee (based on the total amount due).

Renter agrees that the original contract gives authority to any agent designated by Metronome Music, Inc. to recover the above rental instrument wherever it may be located including the school where the rented instrument may be occasionally located and further release from harm the school district, all administrators and teachers who may assist metronome music, Inc. in recovering said instrument.

All Rental Agreements are "Rent-to-Own". All monthly rental payments will apply to the purchase of your instrument. The purchase price of each instrument varies based on brand, type and condition. To determine your instrument’s purchase price and a current payoff amount please contact us directly.

All Rental Agreements are month-to-month and can be canceled by returning your instrument to Metronome Music.

By submitting this application you agree you have read, understand, and will abide by all conditions of this contract.

MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR RENTAL INSTRUMENTS

The maintenance fee will be payable on a monthly basis, and only while the instrument is rented.

The maintenance agreement is void if rental payment is delinquent.

Our agreement includes all damages, except malicious damage. It is for repair only, not a replacement.

The agreement does not include loss of the instrument or any other equipment included with rental. Malicious damage is when the instrument has been damaged outside of normal wear and tear. Malicious damage will be determined by Metronome Music, inc.'s manager of the repair department, sales manager, or owner.

Accessories not included are cases, reeds, oil, strings, cleaning material, drum sticks, drum heads, instruction books, and any other accessory not part of the instrument. The customer will have to replace the case if it is marked with permanent ink.

All repairs must be done on the premises of Metronome Music, inc. no one is authorized to perform any repairs unless in writing by an agent of Metronome Music, Inc. and must be paid by the person renting the instrument if repair is done by any other source.

The maintenance fee is $6 (plus tax) per month for flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones, violins, violas, and percussion kits (drums).

The maintenance fee is $7.50 (plus tax) per month for saxophones.

The maintenance fee is $9.50 (plus tax) per month for Cellos and String Bass.

The maintenance fee does not apply to the purchase of the rental instrument.

It is not necessary to accept our maintenance program to rent the instrument. However, if you return the instrument, you will be charged for any damage to the rental instrument if you do not have our maintenance agreement.
